Veronika Midthassel is a licensed social worker (LSW) with a Masters in Social Worker from Rutgers University.
Veronika has experience in schools, hospitals, behavioral health, and other mental health areas. For the last six years, Veronika has been working in the school system in both general and special education.
She started as a case manager for Pre-K through 8th grade where she conducted evaluations and provided counseling support. Currently, she provides counseling, social skills and crisis intervention for students in grade 9-12 as well as special education students aged 18-21.
Her experience includes supporting students in coping with various diagnoses and mental health needs. She believes that every child is unique and that it is important to work with a family as a whole to help facilitate a child’s growth and success.
Veronika loves cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She has two cats, Mac and Moe, who are turning four years old this year and recently rescued a puppy. He is a Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees mix named Haze!
She loves to volunteer and was a registered EMT for over 10 years. Veronika will be pursuing a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) license.
