Beth Mitatov is a licensed social worker (LSW) with a master’s of social work from the Ramapo College of New Jersey.
She received her bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College and an AAS degree in graphic design from Parsons School of Design. Beth’s art, design, and project management background is an asset to social work practice as she can help children and families using creative skills.
Beth’s prior experience in social work included utilizing play therapy techniques at Leap-ei inclusive preschool. In addition, she counseled children and adolescents at Navigating Success Through Wellness (NSTW), a school-based wellness and social-emotional learning program for grades k-12 in the Ridgefield School District.
Beth is passionate about facilitating meaningful, joyful, and supportive connections among children and their families, especially children who suffer from anxiety and ADHD as well as children who are on the autism spectrum. She is also interested in supporting children and families going through grief and loss.
Beth is a proud mother of two daughters, one in college and one in high school. She enjoys golf, skiing, and spending time with her family.
